Today's children are the first generation to grow up with the Internet as a staple of society.

Our children deserve to have the freedom to exist in a safe cyberspace. However, as the first generation to grow up with the Internet as a staple of society they need our guidance to protect themselves from the dangers which lurk online.

We can give our children the proper guidance only when we are informed of the risks and when we are involved with their Internet activities.

Keeping an eye on our children while they are using the computer may sound like an impossible task - especially with the hectic lives we all lead.

This is why we are promoting the use of PC and Internet monitoring software.

Many adults feel like children are protected when they access the Internet because they are in the safety of their own homes.

The truth is, any time children are online

they face a variety of dangers .

Strangers and Predators

Cyber- bullying

Identity theft

Illegal downloading

Additional Concerns…

Privacy and reputation

Inappropriate Content

Undesirable behavior

Although we hope our children will follow rules we have set about being online, and can teach them not to give out personal information, and not to participate in chat rooms, we have to remember they are still children who will make mistakes.

 What can we do?

Be involved. The more parents are involved with their children’s internet use, the better they are able to identify risks.

Be informed. It is our responsibility to be informed about these online dangers so we can educate and empower youth to safely and responsibly take control of their Internet experiences.

Did you know that Cyber Invesitagtion is ranked #3 for the FBI's Investigative Priorities only behind terrorism and counterintelligence?

Would you like to know or do you wonder…?

• How much time have they been on the computer?

• What they are doing, looking, and searching for on the Internet?

• Who are they talking to now?

• What kind of pictures are they uploading and posting to the Web?

• What are they saying and could it affect their future?

• Are they stumbling upon sites with highly inappropriate content?

• Have they been solicited for secret offline encounters?

• Should I keep a closer eye on what they are doing in Cyber Space?

If you answered yes to any of these questions
you are not alone.

World Wide Web Protection would like to introduce Spector Pro 2008, an award winning software solution so you can know the ins and outs of what your computer is being used for.

Spector Pro 2008 records every detail of what a child does on a computer: their chats, instant messages, emails, the web sites they visit, what they search for, what they do on MySpace, the pictures they post and look at, the keystrokes they type, the programs they run and much more. This program’s advanced screen snapshot feature will show parents not only what their child has done, but the exact order in which they have done it, step by step.

Spector Pro 2008 also has an advanced warning system designed to inform parents when a monitored PC has been used inappropriately.
